Approval Groups

Allow or require multiple users to approve requests

Approval Groups

Approval Groups allow administrators to create groups of users to approve requests. An approval group can require a threshold of users to approve a request, or all, or just one.

Creating Approval Groups

To create an Approval Group, navigate to Approval Groups on the left-hand menu, then click + Add Group.

Name is what you want to call this group.

Approval Threshold is the number of members who must approve the request for it to be marked as approved.

Managing Members

After creating an Approval Group, click the name to open the group’s management view. In this view you can add tags, see prior and outstanding approval requests, change history, and manage members.

Add users by searching for them by name or email and selecting the item. You can remove members on this view too.

Auth Flow

When an approval request is sent to an Approval Group, each member of the group is notified of the request. Any number of members may respond to the request until either the threshold is met (the number of approvals meets the threshold), anyone rejects the request, or the member requests expire.
